All classes will be spilt where Appropriate and if sufficient numbers
Classes are £12.00 per class pre entry, On the day £16.00per class
MORNING CLASSES: In-Hand to commence at 10.00am
Class One: Youngstock – Foals to 3 years
Class Two: Novice/Young Handler be Worn (Children may be accompanied by an Adult)
Class Three: In-Hand Mountain & Moorland-(Small and Large breeds)
Class Four: In-Hand Shetland
Class Five: In-Hand Veteran – For Horses and Ponies 15 years & over
VETERAN IN-HAND, COMBINED AGE CLASS (15 years and over).
To be run as one class but judged as separate age categories:
Diamond Veteran (25 years and over), Veteran (20–24 years) & Pre-Veteran (15–19 years). Open to horses and ponies of any breed and height.
Class Six: In-Hand Coloured, Palomino, Spotted, Dun & Roan
Class Seven: In-Hand Show Pony/Horse, plaited types any age-
Class Eight: In-Hand Cobs – Heavy/Hairy or Hogged
Class Nine: In-Hand Hunter Type Pony/Horse-
Class Ten: Open In- Hand – Open to all breeds
In- Hand Championship – First and second from each class is eligible
AFTERNOON CLASSES: Ridden- Not before 1.00pm
Class Eleven: Lead Rein – 9 years and under and ponies 128cms
Class Twelve: First Ridden- 12years and under & ponies 128cms
Class Thirteen: Novice Ridden Showing first season in Ridden Showing
Class Fourteen: Ridden Mountain & Moorland (Small or Large Breeds)
Class Fifthteen: Ridden Veteran – For horses and ponies 15 years & Over – VETERAN RIDDEN, COMBINED AGE CLASS (15 years and over).
To be run as one class but judged as separate age categories:

SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP – Champion & Reserve from the In-Hand Championship and Ridden Championship

Open to members and non-members. All competitors and grooms must adhere to VHS Rules in all circumstances. Failure to do so may result in immediate disqualification.
VHS Regional Final qualification. All competitors placed 1st to 4th in each age category will qualify for the corresponding class at VHS Regional Finals. Members must carry their cards in the ring and have their showing card signed by the judge in the ring as proof of qualification. Non-members will receive a red qualification card which can be exchanged for signed showing card when applying for VHS membership. It is the competitors responsibility to present their Showing card to the judge.
Regional Finals are open to members only.
All competitors are eligible to enter open classes at the National Veteran Championships, TBC. No qualification or membership necessary. See VHS website for schedule.
